How can we afford a baby now?

This is one of the first questions that often comes to mind.  When you think of everything from the hospital expenses  to the cost of all the items you new baby will need, it can be quite overwhelming.  Here are some links and tips that may be helpful.

1. Get a handle on where your income is going. (Mint.com is a wonderful resource and can help you track your spending.)

2. Adjust the baby calculator to see what your first year may look like. Keep in mind,  there are very few items that actually need to be purchased new, most  baby items can be used or second hand if you are looking to save money.
